Pattern Description:

Every little girl needs a pair of legwarmers. Wear them to dance or just with a pair of shorts on this chilly mornings of spring. And of course we need a matching hat! This fun leggings and hat have a fun open stitch that gives them just enough character, but keeps them simple.

This crochet pattern comes with complete instructions for this adorable cluster hat and coordinating leg warmers (I also have the pattern for the hat and leggings seperately in my Craftsy shop). The pattern is for newborn up to about Child.

Stitches Used:
Foundationless Double Crochet
Frontpost Double Crochet, Double Crochet, Chain, Slip Stitch
Cluster (explained in pattern)

Materials Needed:
Size I Crochet Hook
Yarn Needle
Yarn Weight #3 (I used Bernat Softee Baby)

Please check gauge for appropriate sizing, change hook to correct size to obtain gauge.

With Hook I:
8 rows with 15 hdc = 4 inches square

  • Leggings (0-3, 3-6, 6-12, 12-24, 3T-4T, 5T-6)
