Once upon a time I was a professional costume designer/builder. Then I met a boy. You know how that goes. Now I am a Stay At Home Mom in NJ. We have twin girls who were born in July '07. The artist in me can not stay still, and we could use more income, so here I am! I love creating knit and crochet patterns, sewing (obviously!), book making, well...creating just about anything.
We also have a creative hobby. In some of our free time we are Medieval Re-creationists.
You can learn more about me, and see lots of fun snaps of my children and other creations on my blog, ~or~ You can keep tabs on my creations on my facebook page, both are linked below with my other crafty pages.
Thanks for stopping by!
This hat was inspired by an old potholder pattern that can be found at: http://web.archive.org/web/20071227052119/http://www.angelfire.com/folk/celtwich/Prettypetals.html
This is a slightly loose fitting hat with a tie string that tightens it to fit. It creates an adorable flower look. Make it from all one color, or change colors for each row of petals. The sample was made with Bernat Softee Baby yarn in various colors and a 3.5mm hook.
Always feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions and I will get back to you ASAP. You can also visit me at my Jessie At Home facebook page:
