I've been crocheting for a number of years now. I started out to find something to keep my hands busy while watching TV-better than snacking. I very quickly became addicted. When I found myself altering patterns I decided it was time to start designing my own. I began crocheting children's hats for Halos of Hope in 2010. They are a great organization that sends soft hats to chemo centers all over the USA. I hope my silly hats can bring some happiness to a child fighting a terrible disease. Please check them out at halosofhope.org.

The Black Raspberry Shawl Pattern creates a beautiful triangular shaped shawl that is worked top down. Wear it as a shawl, scarf or wrapped like a cowl. The pattern is written with DK yarn (Bernat Cotton-ish or Knit Picks CotLin) but you should be able to use whatever yarn you like. Heavier yarn will yield a larger shawl, thinner yarn will yield a smaller shawlette.
Pattern includes a chart of the main stitch pattern, edging beginning and ending rows, edging stitch repeat and the center point.
Pattern is copyrighted however you do have permission sell finished products made with the pattern. Please credit Darleen Hopkins as the designer.
