Pattern Description:

This is a PDF pattern for a wonderful textured beanie. The texture of this hat is just PERFECT for several different fruits, my favorites being a strawberry or a blackberry. Instructions for a stem with leaves and a flower are also included.

This pattern calls for some experience with front post stitches, I do include links to videos for learning those techniques, along with the magic ring technique.

Gauge:

15 stitches and 7 rows in double crochet = 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

0-3 months ~ 12-14" circumference
3-6 months ~ 14-16" circumference
6-12 months ~ 16-18" circumference
toddler ~ 17-19" circumference
child ~ 18-20" circumference
teen/adult ~ 20-22" circumference

Materials:

J (6 mm) crochet hook
6 oz or less of worsted weight cotton for hat
small amounts of green, white, and yellow yarn
