Intermediate
I absolutely LOVE this hat! It makes a wonderful baby shower or new baby gift, a "gag" gift, or for that special man in your life (who you won't let grow a real beard because they're scratchy!) It sells wonderfully at craft shows-because these are ALL the rage right now! Wonderful for winter because they keep your head and face cold, while still being able to talk, eat, and drink, without looking like a bank robber! Features step-by-step instructions for every size baby-adult, and special instructions on how to make the beard detachable so that it doesn't need to be worn all the time! The only reason it is rated intermediate is because the beard is a bit tricky. But as always, if any help is needed-I am here!

I first picked up a crochet hook in March of 2011. My friend had just had a beautiful baby girl named Megyn, and had named me the godmother. I was looking for something to fill my time as a stay-at-home-wife, and realized that not only could I find something constructive to do with my time, I could make my goddaughter beautiful things at the same time. My mother bought me my first hook, and my first skein of yarn, showed me the simple chain stitch-and after that I taught myself how to become a master-hooker. My first ever creation was a baby blanket for Megyn, and everything else just took off from there. I started making hats, headbands, and booties, and I was "hooked" lol! In the year since I started I have made a small business for myself selling my items and now, my patterns. I realized that I could not only sell my finished items, I could sell the patterns I made up to make those items! My wife and I are trying for a baby, and I cannot wait until I can make him or her a TON of cute things!
