Basic Skills Necessary:

  • The pattern uses basic stitches - chains, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet and slip stitches.
  • You will be working in rounds as well as rows.

Pattern Description:

These are such cute little slippers for baby from newborn size up to about 18 months (3 inch to 5 inch sole). They remind me of Japanese style slippers you put on when you leave your regular shoes at the door. Add some unique buttons and you can make these to match a special outfit.

The slippers work up quickly; you can easily finish a pair in an evening. I used Hobby Lobby's "I Love this Yarn" cotton yarn.

Gauge:

8 sc stitches & 8 sc rows = 2 inches (5 cms)

  • 1-2 ounces of cotton worsted weight yarn per pair
