Pattern Description:

Now here's a nice thick beanie perfect for cold weather. This hat consists of lots of texture. Leaves drape down from the crown to the ribbing and appear as though they are embossed! This is very much like the knitted version, but this is completely crocheted! The added texture creates a very stretchy crochet fabric. The hat will hug your head!

The pattern includes one ladies adult size. The circumference measures at 19.5", but stretches comfortably to 23". There is lots of room for a larger size head due to a nice 8.5" length.

This pattern requires:
? F/5 (3.75mm) crochet hook
? Superfine (#1) weight yarn (about 715yds)
? Yarn needle

Two strands of this lightweight yarn are crocheted together. Wool or wool blends work best due to their natural stretchiness, but acrylic works fine.

I love to crochet! My mother taught me to crochet when I was a child of 6 yrs old, but I never had the passion for it until a few years ago. It was when my mother was terminally ill that I picked up the hook again. Crocheting helped me to cope with my loss, but also renewed my love for the craft. Call it an obsession or an addiction, but I enjoy it tremendously! I cannot put the hook down!
