Asrai are small delicate fairies that melt away in the sunlight or water.
I'd guess that this is an intermediate level pattern, but a good introduction to using lace weight yarns as dk sections give you a bit of a break from the lace :)
This is a long rectangular stole. Delicate and beautiful, perfect for throwing over your shoulders to dress up an outfit or to provide just a little extra warmth across your shoulders.
The contrast between the lace and the dk weight yarns provides the delicacy seen in this stole.
It uses about 460yds/420mts of dk weight yarn and 250yds/220mts of lace weight, I used matching colours but it looks equally beautiful in contrasting colours as well.
14sts and 12 rows over 4". In dk weight yarn with a 4.5mm hook and hdc.
460 yards of DK weight
