Pattern Description:

Cozy up to cold weather with this textured crochet cap. Raised post stitches form a diamond-shaped cable pattern that outlines each squishy bobble. Worked from the top down in one piece, you can easily modify the length if desired. Finish it off with a crab stitch border.

Gauge:

First 5 rounds worked measures 4.25" (11 cm) in diameter.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished hat measures about 20"(51 cm) in circumference and 8"(20.5 cm) in length, unstretched. Hat will stretch to fit 1-2" larger heads.

Materials:

  • Approx. 220 yds of worsted weight yarn
  • Size 7 (4.5 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
