I started making a dress with this stitch in it and ideas flooded my brain with all the things I could make using it! My Fans of Spring hat pattern and now this cowl. It truly is beautiful and elegant. This cowl is very versatile also. You can change the yarn for a thicker cowl for fall/winter or use the light weight yarn that I did for the warmer months. The flower is detachable so you can choose to wear it or not! ENJOY :)

Materials:

Size H hook
yarn sewing needle
metal clip for flower
Naturally Caron SPA ~ 1 skein
any contrasting yarn for the flower

I've made several of these cowls in jewel tones for holiday gifts this year, and everyone loved them. I have several of Frayed Knots patterns and find them easy to follow and written with great detail. :)

Love it! Made it once, made it twice (in a week that's a record), and will keep making it until i get completely sick of it (So many different yarns to try out!). It's a quick, satisfying project (I tend to be a little impatient, this is perfect!). I haven't made the flowers yet, only the main cowls, but I'll get to the flowers as soon as I need to give the cowls to my friends / family.
