Marguerite hat, in child and adult sizes Pattern

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You'll need to know the basic crochet stitches: how to chain, single-crochet and double-crochet.
  • Malabrigo "merino worsted": approx 60 (70) g in color of your choice (or 135 m / 150 yds of worsted weight yarn)
  • 5 mm (H) hook (or size needed to achieve gauge)
  • + 5,5 mm (I) hook for foundation chain only

Pattern Description:

We all love quick hats, and pretty flower motifs: this hat has it all !

It's crocheted in the round from the top down, and the daisy motif is really easy to make once you've done it once.

All the instructions are written down, and I have also added a chart for the daisy motif.

Instructions are written for 2 sizes; for a child and adult.

Gauge:

14.5 st and 9 rows = 10 cm/4" over double crochet

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Instructions are given for a child size (adult size)
  • Finished dimensions of hat: 24-28 cm (9,5" -11") wide and 18-19 cm (7"-7" 1/2) high (excluding top icord)
