I finally got the hang of it
I loved this class, I had purchased a drop spindle over 2 years ago and was letting it intimidate me. I seen the class and purchased and and very happy I did. She shows you how to work with different types of spindles and how to even make art yarn. If you want to start spinning this is a great way to start .
Just What I Needed
I was having problems with drafting and the spindling class is just what I needed to learn how. I asked around and was pointed to Paradise Fibers for inexpensive fiber to learn. The biggest problem with this is that the fiber feels to nice to start out with, so I have been using some cheap acrylic needle felting I got at a box store. I knew the first few singles wouldn't be that great and I don't feel any guilt at all at throwing it out. It had 6 colors and I'm down to 2 and thanks to this ...

So worth it!
I like that what you need to know to get started is all here in one place. That being said, I've gone to YouTube and found everything that's here, except for her art yarn techniques. I highly suggest watching the course in full before attempting to spindle at all. Dru is really sweet and encouraging! This course is great for those who know nothing and those who do can still learn a lot from the chatter between all of us enrolled!
