Lesson 1. Introduction to Square-agonals®

  • Meet your instructor, Sandi Blackwell, before discovering the secret to creating her signature "Square-agonals" technique, which allows you to set your blocks on point without the use of math or cutting on the diagonal.


Lesson 2. Making the Charm Square Table Runner

  • Dive into a charming table runner project with Sandi’s help along the way. You’ll learn how to prepare the fabric, sew the pattern using chain sewing techniques, and tape, mark, cut and press each section using the techniques you learned in Lesson 1.


Lesson 3. Finishing the Charm Square Table Runner

  • Finish your charm-square table runner using expert techniques as you learn how to sew and press your blocks, add borders and finish the quilt top. Sandi also shares a variety of gorgeous, colorful variations to get your creativity in full swing.


Lesson 4. The Medallion Quilt

  • Put your new Square-agonal skills to work as you create a medallion-style quilt inspired by the colors of Mardi Gras. Make the blocks, mark and cut the quilt top and reassemble and finish the quilt with Sandi’s expert tips along the way.


Lesson 5. Creating the Traditional Basket Quilt

  • Start the Traditional Basket quilt, a gorgeous traditional-style piece that allows you to use Sandi’s techniques on a larger scale. You’ll lay out and sew your fabric, paying attention to which direction you want your blocks to face and what kind of sashing you’ll use.


Lesson 6. Finishing the Traditional Basket Quilt
