Shading Is Everything For Pronouncing Color!!

Watching and experimenting with shades and color highlights by mixing only a few darks and light color pallets has definitely shown me thru these lessons so far that a portrait comes alive vibrantly!! How exciting it is to really learn different techniques of simple color balance, Thanks! Learning!!

Great palette class

Scott's class was very good and not only does he teach period palettes, also shows how to have fressh clean paintings with interesting paint strokes.

color theory, at an age when I'm finally paying attention

Like so many others, I too went to school for fine art, but gave it up in my 20s and always stunk at painting even at the best of times (degree was in sculpture). This is a very accessible course, worth the money.

excellent! finally a clear explanation of mixing paint colors...

I have a degree in art and I have been a working artist for many years but this is the first time I've had color theory explained to me in terms of paint and pigment and how to mix paint colors correctly. You've saved me years of frustration, thank you!
