Karen Whooley is an expert instructor and talented designer who learned the art of crochet from her grandmother when she was seven years old. Today, she is best known as a technique teacher, having written several books that illuminate techniques such as cables, colorwork and lace stitches. She has written two books about Fair Isle crochet, Fair Isle to Crochet and Learn to Fair Isle Crochet. When not in her home state of Washington, Karen travels the world teaching technique-driven classes and designing knitwear.
