Wonderful - but you've got to put in the work

If you want an in depth class that trains your eyes - take this class. If you want an easy put this color with that, don't. Take the time to do the painting exercises. Getting pure blue from mixing turquoise and magenta is magical. Even if you skip the painting most of this class relates to fabric. You'll end up understanding depth, luminosity, luster and lots more.

Fantastic explanation of colors!

This class gives the clearest explanation, with examples, of color and how it works. I was finally able to figure out why some of projects "missed the mark" in visual appeal. I will also apply this information to my fabric dyeing to get more useful colors. Thanks for such a great class!

It is extremely intense! WOW! It starts very slow but be patient!!! I can't stress patience enough here. However, at the end, you will have a Phd in color! And if you are patient, the rewards will be endless in your walk through the majestic world of color! God bless this instructor and ...

I think this is because the instructor perceives and thinks in a different way than I usually do. But this is what is so fascinating about it. She shares her perceptions with me and gives something to me that I would have never gotten without her. I also like the style of the class. Yes, at first I also thought: Why does the teacher feels so awkward in front of the camera? ...

Retaking My Color Class But Better

Before purchasing this class, I made sure to read all the reviews to get a sense if this was worth my money and my time. Afterwards, I hesitated because of the criticism (the tone, the pace, the "tedious" painting lessons, etc). Well, now I have watched a couple of lessons, and I don't regret my decision at all. On the contrary. I took University level art classes in the past, including a color class. We even did the exercises on mixing the colors traditionally known as primaries ...
