Excellent Picking up on many tips and hints! Love Wendy's method of teaching.  May 16, 2012

wallstoo237426

Have picked up on so many small things . I never thought of, using binder clips and painters tape, and best of all the small dowels for centering when sandwiching your quilt. My struggles are over. Loosing my fear of free motion quilting on my "small" machine. I have a Eagle themed quilt, made for my husband, that I have been putting off, no longer, thinks to Wendy. Wish she could have a class or just a list on hints, and shortcuts for small machine home quilters. Thanks again for giving ...

Excellent Love this!  May 16, 2012

As a sewist, but true beginner in the machine quilting, I wasn't so sure I would be able to do this! Yes, Wendy, you make it look easy, but.....! Well, I am conquoring my fears and learning! And although it is not "easy" it is certainly doable....and I am determined that with Wendy's guidance I will be able to do this! Her explanations are excellent, she takes things in order of how it all must be done, not just jumping in to show us a lot of pretty stitching! Don't get me wrong, I love ...

Excellent Questions answered  May 16, 2012

I am enjoying and learning practical step-by-step lessons that are right at my level. As I form questions in my head: "How do I.........?"; Wendy seems to read my mind and her next examples, or segments of information answer my questions. I love that I can go back over and over the classes as I need to review. Wendy has helped me build confidence and expanded my quilting skills. This class comes highly recommended!

Excellent Lessons learned.   May 15, 2012

This class was very helpful for me. I had been wanting to quilt my own quilts on my own machine for a long time. Wendy showed me how to do just that. She does a great job of demonstrating what she is talking about. I was able to complete two bed size quilts in 3 months and have them hang in our biannual quilt show. I like being able to refer back to a specific lesson when I am working on a project, and the topics are always easy to find. Thank you!!

I received this class as a Christmas present and have really enjoyed it. Wendy does a pretty good job of demo. I have not completed all the lesson, but I look forward to do so. I really like that I can go back and repeat and portion I want to.

Wendy;
I have not started sewing on the test blocks yet but I wanted to let you I have watched all the lesions and have taken notes. I have gotten so much out of the lesions. You do such a good job explaining and showing. Even not being a beginner I have gotten so much out of just watching, hints that make since and time savers. I am looking up your binding with so I can get the place mats that I have to go with the table runner. I got the charm pack in New Zealand two years ago and ...

Excellent Donna - May 15, 2012  May 15, 2012

Having been an online teacher, I know how important feedback is. However, I have watched only a few lessons. What I have seen so far has been very helpful and as Wendy says "Practice is the key". I have now had to redirect my efforts for the next few weeks to making clothes for triplets whose scheduled date is only 8 weeks away.... which most of us know probably means 4, if we're lucky. Will get back to the quilting once they reach a normal weight and size so mom and dad can just buy the ...

I have just begun this class and cannot be happier. It is thorough, well organized and easy to understand. And I love the class notes. I might become a good machine quilter, yet :)
