Jinny Beyer
Inspired by the richly colored fabric she saw while living in India, Jinny Beyer finished her first quilt in 1972. Just six years later, her Ray of Light medallion quilt captured first place in the Great American Quilt Contest, beating out 10,000 other entries. Since then, Jinny has traveled the world teaching, quilting and designing fabric, including her best-selling collections for RJR Fabrics. She has authored 12 books, been inducted into The Quilters Hall of Fame, and was honored with the Michael Kile Award of Achievement for her long-lasting impact on the quilting industry.
