I am looking to develop a more couture approach to my dressmaking, when making up these fabulous vintage patterns. I am delighted to have found crafty and Susan Khalje couture dress is brilliant and will help me so much. Would love to know more about tailoring a ladies suit. The cut and styles of a 40s suit needs good tailoring skills.
For me there is nothing like the pleasure of wearing a well made garment you have created yourself, that fits perfectly to your shape. That to me is the joy of dressmaking. Ow yes and all the complements !!!! ha ha, there great.
