I am 41 years old (not sure how I got there so fast!) with a wonderful husband of the same age, a 21 year old stepson and a 10 year old daughter.
I have always loved needlework and all types of fabric crafting, I studied it at school and took many an exam with hoards of coursework, but after leaving school I was taken in a very different direction and became immersed in my life in a physiotherapy department at a school for children with physical difficulties.
Unfortunately due to a condition I was born with, I myself have ended up in a wheelchair and requiring assistance, but it has also given me back my time and thirst for all things fabric, needlework and 'craftsy' (to coin a phrase!).
My favourite new craft is quilting after making my first for a very good friends first baby, I'm now hooked!
