I got started when I was in my early teens. Mother showed me how to sew my own clothes and I spend alot of time in my bedroom drawing. As I got older and had my first child I was a stay at home mom and had to find something to fill up my extra time so I started to cross-stitch, decorate cakes, cookies, took some painting classes. As the kids got older I started doing craft shows with my work. I was cutting wood, painting on it and working with clay. Well now the children were old enough and having children of their own so I started decorating cakes for Wal-Mart. Then I met a wonderful man and we got married and moved to Alabama. Now I'm a stay at home grandma raising two grandchildren. I'm decorating cakes again out of my home working with frosting, fondant, and chocolate, I also do native american indian beaded jewelry, still work with clay, love to do murals on walls, and I will paint on anything I can get my hands on. I try to explore new craft ideas every chance I get. I have a online shop on etsy.com my shop is called Vikki's Blue Moon. I also do custom cakes if you should happen to live in the Mc Calla Alabama area. I love doing children birthday cakes. Seeing the smile on their face when they see their cake is very rewarding!
