As a SAHM, I got into cake decorating 3 years ago when I needed something for my SIL's b.day, but wanted something unique, so made her a cake that looked just like her handbag (at the time), & sort of went from there with the cake orders coming in from friends & family.
When my Mum passed away almost 2 years ago, I wanted to finish all her quilt projects, so taught myself to quilt, took some classes at my local quilt store & then completed 27 of my Mum's UFOs in 6 months so I could take them home to family members.
Am now just getting around to finishing my Mum's quilts for me & doing some quilts for my friends & family & received a gift of an online class here at Craftsy.com.
