My mother insisted I take a sewing class in high school, much to my dismay. So NO one was more shocked than me when I fell in love with it! My Mom bought me a machine to use and I was hooked. But, I never bought my own machine when I moved out on my own 15 years ago. I always intended to, but never got around to it. Still, I never lost my love for sewing. I still have most of the supplies I purchased in high school. They have moved with me across the country TWICE and countless other moves in between. I always said someday I'd get back to it. "Someday" showed up on July 7th when my husband bought me a sewing machine for our 10th wedding anniversary!! I am ecstatic! Then I found Craftsy via a Living Social deal and I'm hooked again!! I am a busy self employed marketing consultant by day, helping my clients to turn their expertise in dollars. So re-discovering my love for sewing has given me a creative outlet that I've been missing for a long time. I am thrilled to be here and look forward to getting to know you!
