I have been a crafter as long as I can remember. I have always had the knack to "figure things out"... always hated spending money on things because I would look at it and think "I can make that better". My Mom taught me how to do so many things - sewing, crocheting, writing - she was my role model, my idol, the most amazing woman I have ever known. She made my prom dresses, taught me how to make a killer lasagna, and most importantly, how to be a Mom. If I can only be half as good to my daughter as she was to me, I am way ahead of the game. My laundry list of crafts includes crocheting, knitting, knooking, jewelry making, sewing, embellishing, painting, scrapbooking... I'm also a trained graphic designer. If I see it and think I can do it, I want to learn how. I believe that in order to keep moving forward, you have to keep learning, so I am an information sponge!
