A Pega-Rabuda was born of a dream of a girl who was hiding underneath the grandmother's sewing machine, and helped steer the pedal with your hands. However, this girl grew up, became a screenwriter, married and had three children boys. Tired of city life, wanted to give his family the opportunity to live a more genuine and close to what is more unique: the land, animals, the field ...This proximity to the origins and the arrival of motherhood, has an urgent desire to create tangible and material things, like a legacy we could leave to others. One day, a screenwriter bought a sewing machine and began gradually to make unique pieces for the children and the children of friends. The A Pega-Rabuda brand was also born of this encounter with the landscape of the Alentejo, where today is the studio of creative sewing. The name came from a conversation with one of the older children, who, correcting, said that we are facing not a "Pega" but a "Pega-Rabuda", which crossed the road where we walked. In our studio, we design and sew unique pieces and unique for babies, children, ladies and home accessories. We are guided by the choice of quality materials and tried to pick all that is national: the straw to the cheetah, the cross point of the rents, the rents linens, etc.., Etc.. Our products have a clear ecological orientation, are 100% cotton, and are all pre-washed with home-made products, anti-allergenic. We also try to make a difference in packaging. All our orders are sent in packaging handmade and customized for each client. We enclose always a jute bag with a mini-glycerin soap, by A Pega-Rabuda, with essence of orange-flower. For us, buying an article of our workshop goes beyond the strict sense of purchase, it is rather an experience, a return to a childhood sometimes very distant, you need to know to redeem, where authenticity and affection with which our products are made are certainly the difference. The philosophy of A Pega-Rabuda is a little ... this offer others a way to live and see life different from what we used.Every day, morning, the Little Tail Grab ("Pega-Rabuda) lands on our wall and reminds us that it's time to start working. To me, it's always a joy to see it because it represents my happiness and personal fulfillment and professional.
