I enjoy all types of crafts that involve fiber, texture and color - spinning, weaving, dyeing, beading, quilting, mixed media, basketry. I learned to sew from my Aunt Janie and Grandma Garrett. Aunt Janie also taught me how to knit. Other crafts I initially taught myself from books and then began taking workshops and classes to increase my skill and rub elbows with other people with similar interests.
