I started knitting jumpers for myself and others when I was about 16. I then progressed to tapestry, long stitch and cross stich. I have dabbled a little in folk art and macrame and beading, but my passion now, along with knitting, is cardmaking. Living in Australia I only knit during the winter months as it is too hot in the summer and my fingers sweat affecting the tension of everything I attempt. So I guess you could say I knit for half a year and card make 12 months of the year.
I have many other passions, Photography, reading, watching movies, listening to music, gardening & my family.
Unfortunately there are not enough hours in the day for everything as I also work full time so the one thing I have decided to leave out of my busy schedule is House keeping the bare minimum only. At least i will die contented in a messy house.
