These were the days before Barbie. My mother taught me how to knit, needlepoint and cross-stitch and my mother in law taught me how to crochet. I learned quilting from a friend when I lived in Germany. I have taught myself and anyone who is around me long enough to bead, play with glitter, and just open up to the possiblities of creating.
