I am an artist, educator, and researcher. I teach art education and qualitative research methods at the university level. I began making clothing (altering it mostly) in high school when I couldn't find clothing that I liked (usually due to fit). Later, I got into making clothing for my family, and more recently myself. I am very interested in the social psychology of dress as well as the pedagogical value of clothing and clothing construction. I am also an avid cook and baker. I am a glass bead maker. I silversmith occasionally, I used to teach bookbinding. I was trained as a drawer/printmaker. I taught photography for 8 years. And, I have neglected my garden for far too long due to the many projects I am currently undertaking.
