I've sewn since high school, but always wanted to quilt. I finally taught myself to quilt 3 years ago to make a purse since the ones I liked in the stores cost too much. Since then, I've taken classes at a quilt shop and joined a guild. I hope in the future to be able to combine my writing (I'm a published children's author) and my quilting arts in a project! www.gpdavenport.com
