I was blessed with a wonderful grandmother that loved anything to do with crafting. She quilted, crocheted, knitted, sewed, and just about anything else associated with making things. I was blessed with a wonderful grandmother that loved anything to do with crafting. She quilted, crocheted, knitted, sewed, and just about anything else associated with making things. I remember sitting beside her watching her work her magic. She patiently taught me, and made me rip out stitches if they weren't perfectly straight. LOL. When she was in her final days she told me to go to her home and get ALL of her craft supplies and take them home with me. I couldn't bring myself to do that. I waited until she passed to gather the numerous totes filled with all kinds of projects, supplies, and what have you. From that point on I am always doing some kind of craft work...it helps me to keep her close to me.
