I grew up with a grandmother that sewed, crocheted, knitted, raised a garden and canned whatever we didn't eat fresh, and loved to cook. We spent our days together always working on some project or another. Though I am a software engineer by trade, I have a degree in Baking and Pastry from the Art Institute, and discovered that making cakes is what I like to do best. Absolutely love the classes here on Craftsy!
