I learned to crochet by choosing a most complicated pattern that a friend was working on, the pattern had pictures to illustrate the task at hand, and my friend gave me a square to reference the pattern with. I made that for my daughter when she was a toddler and she's now seventeen. I'd like to learn more about knitting. I've loved handmade things since I was a young girl growing up in Maryland.
