I love to crochet, quilt, knit, sew, weave and really any type of crafting. I love to create things out of fiber. I learned crochet and knitting in a Mixed Media Art class in high school and have been 'hooked' ever since. My Aunt Rachel taught me to make the Cathedral Window quilt in 1990 and to this day it is my favorite quilt technique, although I enjoy nearly all types of quilts. I learned to sew in Home Economics in middle school. I have a quilting/sewing room in my house that my wonderful husband built for me, and I love it. It is my 'therapy' room, not that I really need therapy, but it is good for the soul to create things. Nearly all of what I make and create is given away as gifts and such. I have more fabric and yarn than I can keep track of, and always enjoying buying more :O)
