I have been sewing since I was 18 years old. I took one formal class at that time. The need for formal drapery and other home decor, as well my children's Halloween Costumes is how I became hooked! However, after having a little girl (who is now an adult) I took my sewing to the next level: Party dresses, play clothes, bathing suits and her First Holy Communion Dress. In addition, I love to create clothes for myself. I also create pet beds and dog & cat costumes. And, having created over 30 Halloween Costumes ... It has now turned into a passion - labor of love. It it the best therapy in the world! I use it as my time to relax. I love to take a day and go into New York City to shop at the wonderful Fabric District! We also have a terrific shop here in New Jersey, "Stitch & Sew" Lakewood, NJ. No need to feel bad about anything...just go fabric shopping and create something...and things just get better!
