I started quilting in 1976 when I had to stay in bed during my third pregnancy to avoid another miscarriage. I embroidered 15 baby zoo animals and also used a red gingham fabric. I took a paper piecing class and loved it so much that I called in sick for 2 days to finish it. Since then I have forgotten how to paper piece. I want to learn again and will using a Carol Doak DVD. I am starting to machine quilting using the craftsy class..
