We made pumpkins, scarecrows, dolls, stuffed kittys, aprons, PJs etc... I learned as I went. Taught the girls the parts of the sewing machine and it was so exciting to hear those machines humming. One little girl was only five and had to stand up at her machine because she couldn't reach the pedal. I was surprised at how well she did at her age. It was a lot of work but we all enjoyed it and at the end of the season we had a fashion show. Once the girls gave me a ticket for speeding on my machine. ha ha!! My new love is quilting. I'm pressing on toward learning everything I can about making quilts.
I've made six simple ones, but I've learned so much more by starting the Craftsy classes. They are packed full of good information. Thank You!!
