Watching my grandmother work the old treadle machine, with facination. I started sewing and then wanted to learn to knit, which our pastors wife taught me. Then it was embroidry pillow slips (as my gram called them). Next we macrame'd plant hangers in the 60's while continuing to sew household items and clothing for children.
