I'm a craft addict. Ever since I was little, I could never find exactly what I wanted so I ended up making it. I especially love quilting. Earlier this year, my Aunt was telling me about the troubles she was having with her local Block-of-the-Month from her quilt shop. I suggested finding an online source. She came back with Craftsy.com and we started it together. Now, an hour and three states away, we can catch up and bond over our blocks... and with others all over the world! What an amazing fellowship! About me: I'm a Pastry Chef, mid-20s, with a love of old and vintage things. My grandmothers, great-grandmothers, and great-great grandmothers all quilted, probably more from neccesity rather than for fun like I do, but these beautiful blankets have been handed down from generation to generation. There is something about the love that is wrapped up in that fabric. I think those wondeful women would be pleased to know that their work has kept many children warm.
