My mum was a machinist, I could not afford shawls for my babies so I taught myself crochet and practiced my knitting (which my mum taught me at early age) so then I could not put it down. Then my grand daughter Georgia wanted me to make barbie clothes and then I filled my cupboards and so thats why I started selling them off.
