Saw a crocheted blanket at a church fete aged 12 and was so attracted to it I decided then and there I was going to learn to crochet. Being left handed, it was difficult trying to follow right handed instructions, but being very determined, I kept at it until I became competent enough to adapt. That was nearly 40 years ago & I haven't stopped!
