I started out sewing, making formal dresses for myself, my sister and friends in highschool. from there i taught myself to bead making and selling jewelry for a couple of years in my home town. soon after i taught myself to crochet (my granny taught me to knit when i was about 6 but i didnt like it so much). it took off from there and i've started what i like to call crochet arts (sculpting out shapes and characters from a simple ball of yarn) and i've since started to sell my work at my local craft shop and to friends via word of mouth. soon i hope to get my stuff online so i can expand my sales base. oh and a small point that i officially have sold some of my stuff overseas thanks to a brother-in-law who happens to be british! it might be a stretch but i like to think im officially an international designer lol
