I have gone through many stages of doing some sort of art all my life starting with weaving potholders on a loom and selling them in the neighborhood when I was 8, to weaving on a floor loom at camp when I was 12 and owning my own floor loom as an adult. From there I designed and made paper ear rings that I sold at art shows. After that I started making glass beads with a torch and fusing glass. 10+ years of working with art glass I found quilting and I am here to stay. Mostly self taught I love working with bright colors. I started a blog a year ago because the quilting world was so different than the glass world where everyone wanted to keep everything a secret. Quilters love to share and pass on their tricks to new quilters. A much more friendly group..
