My mum's youngest sister had an old Terry's chocolate box with drawers filled with embroidery threads - this fascinated me when I was young, and I just wanted to use them. (I think the box still smelled of chocolates too!) I've always loved making things. I knit, stitch, paint, draw, print, cook, garden - - there just isn't enough time to fit everything in.
