Hi I'm a retired critical care nurse.My mother was an avid seamstress but she never taught me to sew but she bought me an elna sewing machine and I took off sewing for my three girls. I truly believe that I learned from her thru osmosis. To this day I know she is on my shoulder while I sew and quilt for my 4 grandchildren.And I'm going to teach them all to sew.
