My Grandma Karnes (Dad's mother) taught me to chain and single crochet when I was 9 yrs.old. I taught myself to knit a short time later and even to tat. My mother had me make a quilted doll blanket when I was 4 and introduced me to embroidery by the time I was 5. I finally took some real knitting classes around 2005 and that really exploded my desire to knit, knit, knit every day.
