I started out with papercrafting about 10 or 11 years ago and had been on a couple of cardmaking challenge DTs, until about 4 years ago my mojo just suddenly upped and went. I needed something to occupy my hands and decided crochet was what the Dr ordered (even though my nan had tried and failed to teach a young cak-handed me) and took to it like a duck to water. What I like about crochet is, there is always something new to master, whether it be a pattern or stitch, or just a new gadget to make a cover for. So all in all, I'm fairly new to the crafting bug compared to other crafters that learnt their craft from their mum or nan, but it's got me, hook, line and sinker nevertheless and I wouldn't have it any other way :-)
