I learned to sew from my mother and 4-H. By the time I graduated from high school, a turtleneck was the only piece of clothing in my closet that I had not sewn from scratch myself. I used to help my Mother hand-sew on the final quilting of all of the quilts that she used to make for everyone in our family.
