My grandmother and my mother were wonderful crocheters and knitters - I learned both as a teenager. I then moved into needlepoint and petit point, but was always intrigued by quilting. I took my first quilting class about 15 years ago (when I finally lived somewhere big enough to have a fabric store and offer classes!), and have never looked back.
