I started sewing when I was 13 yrs old. Made clothes for my children, curtains for my home. One day I made matching curtains and a "comforter" for my youngest child. Years later I took a quilting class and discovered that I had acutally made a quilt, not a comforter. I have been "officially" quilting since I took that first class about 12 years ago.
